Raymond made his first guitar, an electric bass whilst still a teenager. He has since produced a dozen or so classical guitars.
The move to electric guitars started in 2019 with the acquisition of a professional CNC machine, necessary to provide the precision machining necessary for the innovations to be found in RJR guitars (see the Tech-stuff page for details).
At this point Raymond was joined by Julien, who had studied music at the Université and the Conservatoire de Lyon and who brought with him a background in carpentry, electronic music and artistic community management.
Together they combine innovation and traditional craftsmanship to create instruments that look great, feel great, sound great and are a dream to play.
RJR guitars is located in Lyon, France.
